Overview

The Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu route combines Himalayan scenery, Tamang and Sherpa culture, pine, oak and rhododendron forests and pilgrimage landscapes. The wider region includes views toward Langtang Lirung, Langshisa Ri, Dorje Lakpa and Naya Kanga, with the Gosainkunda and Lauribinayak Pass area reaching about 4,610m.

Daily itinerary

Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and begin trekking to Chisapani.
Trek from Chisapani to Kutumsang.
Continue trekking to Tharepati.
Trek from Tharepati to Tarkeghyang.
Continue through the Helambu region to Talamarang.
Trek to Melamchi Pool Bazaar and drive back to Kathmandu.
International departure or continue with another program.
