Daily itinerary

Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj airport in western Nepal, followed by a scenic 2-hour drive through lush countryside to Bardia National Park. Settle into eco-lodge, take a village stroll, and enjoy dinner under starry skies.

Early morning entry into Bardia on foot with two veteran naturalists. Position at quiet river hides (machans) to observe tigers, rhinos, and elephants coming to drink. Packed picnic lunch in the wild.

Comprehensive open-top Jeep safari traversing diverse ecosystems from deep sal woodlands to vast grasslands. Afternoon drift on Karnali river for bird watching and dolphin tracking.

Final morning bird-watching excursion around the lodge gardens and buffer zone. Breakfast and transfer back to Nepalgunj airport for return flight to Kathmandu.
